Our mission is to give back to employees of the Forsyth County Service Organizations that serve and protect us, and to restore confidence, hope and peace of mind through financial and other support when unforeseen or unwelcome circumstances enter those employees' lives.
OUR Service Organizations
Sheriff Ron H. Freeman
B.A.D.G.E. provides support and assistance for the men and women of the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office when we find ourselves in need of help. Made up of local citizens, business leaders, and supporters of law enforcement throughout our community, B.A.D.G.E. provides financial support to officers injured in the line of duty, educational scholarship opportunities and more.
I am so appreciative of our citizens in Forsyth County and organizations such as B.A.D.G.E. who are willing to support the extraoridnary men and women of FCSO who work so hard to keep us safe every day. All of the funding for B.A.D.G.E. comes from local citizens, businesses and corporate partners and 100% is spent in support of our local deputies.

On behalf of the proud men and women of the Forsyth County Fire Department, I am honored to express my sincerest thanks for B.A.D.G.E. This amazing program, completely funded through private donations from local citizens and business leaders, provides for crucial financial support to our firefighters in times of their need. Whether it be an injury, family crisis, unforeseen financial burden, or any other number of needs, my firefighters know that they have a locally funded, and locally managed, program that looks out for them - just as they look out for Forsyth County.
Organizations like B.A.D.G.E. are one of the many reasons that Forsyth County is an amazing place to live and work. The B.A.D.G.E. program is like and extended family member for us and one for which I am so personally grateful.

What an honor it is to be a part of such a great group of public safety partners in Forsyth County, and also to thank all the citizens, business leaders and others that support public safety here in our community. B.A.D.G.E is such an amazing program that assists public safety personnel in those times of financial crisis. Not many communities have this kind of support and I am proud to be in one that does. Forsyth County has some of the best emergency management & 911 telecommunications staff in the entire state, and knowing that an organization such as this is behind them and their families is very reassuring that everything is going to be alright.
